Peek is a ceramic piece burned at high temperature inspired by rituals of the pre-Hispanic cultures of Mexico. It is part of the "Nahual" collection of Mecate Studio. In Nahua culture, Peek is the name of the dog Xoloitzcuintle, native to the central plateau of Mexico. It is the companion of men, sent by the gods to help them across the river on the trip to Mictlán (place of the dead).
